The Parkland was landscaped by the legendary “Capability” Brown in the 18th century.A collection of paintings, including work by Van Dyck, Gainsborough and Stubbs, furniture and works of art provide interest for its visitors.

 

Weston Park

Weston Park is a stately home and 1,000 acres of wooded Parkland. The former home of the Earls of Bradford in Shropshire is a 17th century house now held in Trust for the Nation by the Weston Park Foundation. The history of the place can be traced back to William the Conqueror.

Weston Park

The varied programme of entertainment includes Music Festivals, Game Fairs and Model Air Shows. The house has hosted many prestigious events in the past, e.g. the G8 Summit of 1998. Bill Clinton, Tony Blair and Chancellor Kohl were among the guests.
